Whole Hog-$2.00 per pound on hanging weight.
Approximate cost with processing on a 250 lb. hog is $800.
This yields approximately 135 pounds of pork in your freezer.
Half Hog-$2.00 per pound on hanging weight.
Approximate cost with processing of a half of a 250 lb. hog is $400..
This will yield approximately 70 pounds of pork in your freezer.
Whole Beef-$3.25 per pound on hanging weight.
Approximate cost with processing is $4000.
Half Beef-$3.25 per pound on hanging weight.
Approximate cost with processing is $2000.
Quarter Beef-$3.25 per pound on hanging weight.
Approximate cost with processing is $1000.
Hogs and Beef can be processed at Hoeslys (608)527-2513 or Avon Locker (608) 776-2336.
Whole or half orders:
1) Contact us by phone, email or on Facebook
2) Provide us with your name, address, email and phone number
3) Let us know to which processor you would like it delivered. Depending on the processor, they will either call you for the cutout or you should call them. We will let you know how to handle this when you tell us which processor you will be using.
4) If you want a half of hog, you do not need to find someone to purchase the other half. We will do that or Elmer Meats will use it to sell as individual cuts.
5) Upon your first contact with the processor, they will let you know when your meat will be ready. Please write this on your calendar.
6) When you pick-up your meat, you will pay the processor for the processing
7) Elmer Meats, LLC bill you for the meat at the end of the month. All payments are due upon receipt
